You may be choosing the wrong encryption method. For instance your entering your wireless key (WEP) and you have it set on (PSA, WPA). Make sure those settings match. Also you may have an IP conflict which is resolved by setting up a static ip. If the encryption methods match and you need help with a static IP let me know

I've experienced the same problem with my ASUS netbook. Uninstall the wireless hard - remove hardware in control panel, reboot the machine and allow it to auto find the adapter again. This should correct it. If there are still problems verify that you have the most current driver for the wireless adapter, either from Asus, or the wireless adapter chipset manufacturer (i.e. Intel, broadcomm, etc.)

Its not the Bos,just dont corrupt the boot procedure with unnecessary key presses.
Or reinstall factory settings properly--it has very little to do with the bios

If you have tried all the various AV Removal Tools to look for expired/leftover remnants of other AVs, I'd suggest scanning your System for Malware.
Malware will often stop you downloading Security Products.
Download, install, update and scan with each of the two programs below to check for/remove Malware/spyware.
If necessary, do all the above work in Safe Mode with Networking.
To get into Safe Mode with Networking, tap F8 right at Power On / Startup, and use UP arrow key to get to Safe Mode with Networking from list of options, then hit ENTER.
