CMT-BX5BT SONY spkrs aren't pulling in music (via BT) from laptop

blue toith where inside PC, or added to PC using BT to USB gongle, device.??? (yup 2 ways and can be the fix , see?)

bluetooth is trick tech. (it even learns devices , by self)
so what pc (one of 10,000 laptops)
what OS. (operating systems matter big time)
what device, (piles)

so is this XP OS? the dead OS? and virus magnet?
btw1: Vista ended this year.
what PC, it has HP model , like DV5-12345us.
on the service tag of every HP made.

we cant have any ideas ever lacking key facts like that.
impossible. but. but but.... in the generic.

but can say , the bluetooth driver is missing or wrong
no internet connection, gee now can BT work>lacking that
if XP or VISTA gee, MS shut down PnP for those.

support happens like this.
if the PC BT module is ok and the OS driver workes (DM)
the BT chip in pc connects to the device, (chip to chip ) easy
of the OS driver works the PC OS can now comm to the chip
next... (its chain of events serial)
then The OS does PnP plug and play to find a match for your random BT device (oops XP is dead)
try to know each DEVICE is not the same.
a BT , headphone, speaker., mouse/.or keyboards are not the same.
nor vast other things, different (endless list)
even MS tells you w7 UP, most headphones are not supported by MS. at all (pnP) need a link to MS on that, have it.

that means you need to get the driver from the maker.
with W7 OS.
it can find many drivers easy with PNP working

The pin # is 0000. Make sure you input this on your pin box on your pc or iPad as well as the stereo unit itself. Use the tuner to input pin# on the stereo which is the same pin. Insert 0, then use right arrow key to move cursor to the next digit place and do it until you input four zeros and then hit enter.

your recovery manager files should be on drive D or other partition. if not then its gone. but the operating system cd that goes with your laptop is still better than the factory default anyway but the thing is, youll need the cd everytime you want to reformat.

if i where you, il go for 32bit win 7 since your computer used to be a 32 bit vista. no worries about making the most out of your computer since win 7 eats less than vista anyway. and go for 32 bit since your laptop is made for 32 bit.

-- optimizing computer services
-- optimizing internet
-- repairing registry
-- defraging registry
-- clearing browsers junk

do these things with some secure tool such as Intel Software Partner Reginout.

On the HP site, the Hp pavilion tx1240ef only have audio drivers for Microsoft Windows Vista and Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit).
