My WACS 57 Center will not ever boot. It just always says booting up. What can I do?

contact the manufacturer through the suppoet facility on their website, they are the best people to help you in this matter and may ask you to return the item dor inspection/repair/replacement. This is not the forum for your particular problem I think.

Phillips wac700 says booting up has not been used for a while

Hello
Just unplug the device from AC mains socket and replug it after 3 minutes and see whether it helps you. If not, a firware upgrade will be necessary. The supplied PC installer CD contains Media Manager [DMM] software. it will help you to upgrade for WAC700 center. For details see DMMs' help file. Refer to the manual CONNECT YOUR PC to learn how to install the software. OK.

How do you connect an ipod or mp3 to the waC700 wireless music centre?

Anything that has a headphone output can be adapted to feed an RCA cable pair for standard stereo to any audio device with a standard RCA input. Get a cable like the one described here:

http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021804&p_id=665&seq=1&format=2

and connect it into any available analog input EXCEPT "Phono". Turn the MP3 player volume up.
