Nokia N70 Insert sim card problem.......

Hi First open "Menu" and go to profile and activate the "General" during this if a message "Insert Sim Card" is prompt, the problem is from the damage of sim card/sim card IC/sim card slot.Before you contact mobile repairing shop put another sim card to your phone.If the problem still persist contact nearest mobile repairing shop.Good luck

remove the sim, battery, and memory card then clean your sim with eraser then try it on. if problem continues try a new sim and if not work again no other solution but to consult a technician.

just turn the phone off and take off the battery and simcard and bring it all back again..

then problem is with your sim card.. kindly contact customer care and ask about your sim card validity..

Take off the back battery civer, remove battery the sim slot should be under battery on most nokia models if you see no sim slot then your model is not GPRS its CDMA and requires a CDMA provider so check and make sure, Even tho you model may have one or the other there are two form factors to your model phone so this all depends on the formfactor and what system it was designed for. But like i said if you see no sim slot chances are its CDMA.

1. If it is a new sim card wait till the service provider registers the sim.
2. If it was already working previously insert another known working sim card. If same message comes clean the contact points on the cell phone.
3. If above 2 dont work your phone IC is corrupted and you need expert help.

if its an old sim card somtimes u hav to up date to a new 1 or maybe der is dirt on d gold chip on ur sim card or wer d sim card sits in the phone

u have to connect ur mobile with ur computer and make it flash set Sim Lock Intialise.

where did you bought your phone? if you bought it from a telecom's promo it means that your phone is locked to a single network provided only. you can ask a technician to have your phone OPENLINE for you to be able to use any kinds of sims.
if it's not the case, check the slot for sim and make sure that the sim is properly placed. restart it without the sim and then restart again but now with the sim.
