Sync a new handset to kx-tg5632 phone

I have an additional handset model kx-tga560m for the above 5.8 ghz phone. how do i make the new handset talk to the base unit? thanks!

This works on MY panasonic; May work on yours too!

Registering a handset
The included handset and base unit are
preregistered. If for some reason the
handset is not registered to the base
unit, register the handset.
1 Handset:
{MENU} i {0}{0}{1}
2 Base unit:
Press and hold {LOCATOR/
INTERCOM} until the IN USE
indicator flashes.
LAfter the IN USE indicator starts
flashing, the rest of the procedure
must be completed within 1
minute.
3 Handset:
Press {OK}, then wait until a beep
sounds.
4 {OFF}
Registering an additional handset
See page 5 for information on the
available model.
Start from step 2.

It may be "input" or "integers" for all I know... but I just hit menu then 001. Good luck!

The KX-TGA560M isn't an answering machine. If you have a separate answering machine connected to your phone then please consult its documentation. If you still have problems, please repost your question specifying the make and model of your answering machine.
If you're subscribed to a voicemail system offered by your telephone company, please contact them for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

You could buy a new handset from :-

The cost of the handset is less than $25. If the unit is under warranty ( less than i year old ), you could contact the service center and get it replaced without any cost.

The average cost of repair is around $75 on this set for display. That is one of the reasons why we recommend buying a new handset. This is a common problem on most of the handsets. We did everything that we could - swapping batteries and making sure that it is properly registered.

I know, it is not a good new, unfortunately there is no reset button unless you take it apart and look for a loose wire or connection. That is the only possibility.
