TSP 700 printer on 32 bit windows 7. It doesn't stop printing and the paper just keep coming out. I've tried to reinstall driver and swapped the printer with the same model with another comput

I have the legacy port convert to USB port. What port should I select when installing manually. I've tried LPT or COM1 and USB but none of them seem to work with the driver and the problem persist. Any other suggestion?

Check if interface at the back of printer is interchangeable to the type of port your computer will support it. Direct USB to USB or direct connection is recommended to avoid future issues.

TSP 700 printer on 32 bit windows 7. It doesn't stop printing and the paper just keep coming out. I've tried to reinstall driver and swapped the printer with the same model with another computer

What you are experiencing and have attempted is a bit ambiguous. Is the printer repeatedly printing the same document or is it just kicking out blank pages after printing the document? Did you retrieve a second printer of the same model and print successfully with it or did both fail? Did you try the "bad" printer on the 2nd computer which you got the 2nd printer from? The answers to all of these are relevant. A document may be repeatedly printed if "stuck" in the printer queque. Blank sheets may be perpetually ejected if the nozzels are clogged. Driver installation may not have been successful if instructions about unplugging the USB cable were not followed. For that matter, did the driver match the OS and come from the manufacturer? There are a lot of factors to sort through here. Hopefully, this gives you some ideas. Whether Star Micronics offers support for a printer of this vintage is anyone's guess. I just see a Model II of this model when I begin looking into the printer. You might want to repost, clarifying what the problem is and what you have tried. Sorry.

Lexmark x1190 with windows 7 print queue wont clear after printing

Once you load the driver successively then don't try to fiddle with driver. Remove the printer from the system and switch on whether the printer

initialize proper, try to print one self test page.

My machine is not printing, even though it said 100% normal

Hello:

Check to be sure the drivers you installed (I'm assuming you installed the drivers) are for the operating system you have on your computer. If it's Windows Vista or Windows 7 be sure you checked to see if your version of Windows is either 32 bit or 64 bit.

The best thing to do is uninstall the printer and reinstall it again this time making sure you have checked all the Windows info correctly. You can do this by clicking on the start button then find the "computer" or "my computer" then right click on it and select "properties" on the bottom of the list. All your computer info will be displayed for you to determine which Windows operating system you are running including if it's 32 bit or 64 bit.

After you've reinstalled the printer and the correct drivers and it's still not working you may have to have it checked out. The printer spooling service may not be running on the computer or your printer may be damaged.

Can our ALPS MD 1000 printer work with Windows 7? We used it when old computer had Windows XP on it, but that crashed and bought HP with Windows 7 now... we need Alps to make waterslides for custom rod...

There are NO Windows 7 drivers for the ALPS MD printer. I've read that you can run an XP virtual mode on Win7 that allows you to use the printer. If you are comfortable tweaking the OS, it's a workable option. I picked-up an old (and cheap) laptop on Craigslist and printed my decals from there.
