Hello Serban Alexandru - Typically error code E22 indicates that the water is not pumping out fast enough. Does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, there may be a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Otherwise since it is such a complex unit I would recommend contacting a professional to have the pump, timer or main control board diagnose.

I'm fairly sure that this is a warning that the filter is blocked. There is a filter in the bottom right hand corner of the machine.
Now, as stated by the other user here, your problem is that you have a machine full of water and if you remove the filter, you are going to get a very wet floor. The trick here is:
Turn the power off at the mains and remove the plug from the wall. Wait ten minutes. This SHOULD power off the safety feature that allows you to open the front load door.
Presuming it does, pull the machine out if it is under a work surface and taking great care because of the weight, tip tha machine backwards until the water level is below the door (Having a chair or a box to rest the back of the machine on is a good plan here, so you don't tip it beyond about 45% and have it fall on ots back.
If the door will open, then you can now rescue any clothes and bale out the water with a cup. Once you gave got to all the water you can (Memember there is still more waqter out of sight and in the pipe going to the filter!) You can now tip the machine back a little further until the water is clear of the filter in the botton right of the machine.
NOW, you can take the filter out, remove the fliff, couns, old sock and other debris clogging it and screw it back in place. TIp the machine back on to its feet and put it back.
Now, make a note in your diary to check the filter ever 6-8 weeks or so. Once you have done a few check and cleans, you will figure out how oftem you need to clean the filter, which depends on what you wash and how much you wash it.

Well I'm an idiot. They did say there was a fast wash, but it specified that it was for extra rinses to help people with detergent allergy etc., but did not give a time for the cycle. They should have said it was the short wash for everyone. I tried it, and it was fine. Thanks anyway. If I ever have a real problem, I'll be back.

Hey friend, thanks for your post!
I understand that your Electrolux washer is displaying an error code of "E22" and you want to fix it. The error code "E22" is not pumping water out fast enough and this could be an issue with your hose, drain pump, or control panel. It is possible that this could be an internal miscommunication with the control panel. I would recommend performing a reset on your washer and you can do that by disconnecting power from your washer for roughly ten minutes. If that does not help clear out the false codes I would suggest checking the drain hose to assure that there is no restriction or clog within the hose or pipe. If the hose is clear you may need to replace either component and I would recommend having a professional out to do that. They will be able to properly disassemble your washer and avoid any future issues. Best of luck! -Matt
Thank you for your inquiry, Barbara Constable!
I see that your Electrolux washer is displaying an "E10" error code. "E10" stands for fill time too long you may want to check the hoses to make sure they are not restricted or kinked this could cause slow fill within your washer. If the hoses look to be in good shape then I would suggest it could be a faulty sensor or control panel. You could additionally reset your washer by disconnecting power from it for ten minutes. If you restore power and it continues to flash "E10" I would recommend having a professional out to properly diagnosis your washer. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt
