The security device plugs into the left front of the MB as viewed from the front. It is approximately 1.5" x 2 inches in size. they sometimes come loose form the socket when a system is moved. Open the case and see if it is there and loose. If completely gone, then you need to contact your MB supplier for either the device, a new board or a factory reprogram of the board to disable the missing device.

Take your modem out of the computer ... you are using broadband ... your modem may want to use the came meory address ad your NIC ...
