Need to reset primary master HDD password

did you set the hdd to be locked?or does it have a password?try to open bios settings>reboot.hit del>then restore to default settings... if this does'nt work;try to do the restoration system..just follow this steps;
1.Before system run hit f8 then click safemode, or read the manual of your machine of what key to hit entering for options.on my machine i usually hit f8 then click safemode 2.your windows start in safemode,then click start>all programs>accesories>system tools>then system restore... 3.Click restore my computer to an earlier time.then click next,select date to when your machine works normally or never unlocked,click next>then click next. 4.The system reboot;pls wait till the process finish..click ok and your done....

try reseting it through your bios, if your lucky there will be a way, if not, get a new harddrive

call the acer tech support or go on line a to www.acer.com and they should be able to get you need best regards mike

the only solution is for you to call the acer tech support and they can generate a password for you to gain access to your hard drive and bios.

There is a freeware called Killcmos. You can find it using google. But this is no guarantee and could possibly damage your bios.

The solution is to go to BIOS and u can enable and disable the HDD password query item. U can disable it and u can run ur computer again.
