80g PS3 slim. New LG smart TV 3D. Over the past 2 months i have noticed pixilation or missing packets... similar to streaming video with minimal internet connection. Games and movies play thru but in game choppy graphics, long load times and when view piont is changed images take 3-5 seconds to fully render. In movies durring any motion sequence there is extreme pixilation. Display on the in the startup menu is crisp and clear. As time has progressed the issue has gotten worse and am wondering if its time for a new PS3 or if i can fix myself. Also i have HDMI connected with the "fastest" monster HDMI Best Buy has available. Also picture is displayed in 1080p but only at 60Hz and the TV prossesses at 120Hz.
SOURCE: Game plays in 1920/1080p **60Hz**. i have a LED 120Hz TV.
the tv only gives out as much as it can, you cant improve it, srry
SOURCE: I have 2 ps3 consoles one new slim model other is

Found a post on resetting the PS3 for configuration with a new TV. This helped with the pixilation slightly. The other problem now is games that were displayed in 1080p are now at 720p. I know 720p is what most games are designed for but the graffics and load times are the same. I also a few friends that deal with computers and servers and they said a simple lens cleaning may help or i need a new disc reader or may be the main processor overheating and damaging components. to add i play about 6 to 8 hours per day. I am purchasing a new PS3 today to see if the new one has the same issues and if so i would be fallowing this post with another on th LG Smart TV.
