See this causes and fix it .God bless you
f the microwave will not work at all, make sure power is on at the outlet and test the electrical cord. Test the fuse and replace it if it is faulty. Also check the door to make sure it closes properly. Test and, if needed, replace the fan. If the oven doesn't cook or cooks only intermittently but the display is on, check the door interlock switch, the thermal cutout (see the Applaince Controls Fix-It Guide), and the fan, replacing parts that don't pass the test.
If the oven keeps blowing fuses, check for a faulty door interlock or monitor switch.

How do I heat frozen meat pies in my Sharp convection grill microwave appliance?

Hello, Derek -

Is the Sharp Convection Grill Microwave either model R-820JS or R-820BC? If so . . .

The cooking directions begin on Page 24 of the Operation Manual.

If you do not have the manual, you can find it as a PDF document (Adobe Reader software needed - free) to download for free here:
http://kitchen.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/sharp/r820js_r820bc_1.html

The cooking instructions start on Image 27 of the PDF document and run through Image 30 (Page 26.)

I would choose the convection cooking temperature for either Frozen Convenience Foods or Pies, Frozen Prepared.

Best wishes.

The control panel of my sharp grill 2 convection microwave oven is very dim

Hi,
Dimmed light might be caused by a slight contact between the panel's connector and the mainboard. Or, there is a dimmer option (feature) in the menu. Depends on model. Some of Panasonic microwave ovens are equipped with such a feature.
Regards,
Dan

Microwave wont heat

Hello - If the microwave does not heat, it could possibly have a faulty control panel, magnetron or an issue with the power supply. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.

Sharp Carousel Microwave Convection R-820JS. Oven gets hot but turntable does not rotate causing uneven baking.

If the oven is STILL heating, but the carousel isn't turning, this problem is commonly attributed to a turntable motor that has worn out and may need to be replaced. The motor is attached to the center plastic piece (called a turntable shaft, turntable ring or coupler) under the middle of the glass tray. The following link explains how to access and replace the motor:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3555716-replacing_a_turntable_motor_on_a_microwa

This is a very simple repair, that usually is not expensive. The price will be determined by the model and manufacturer. This repair can also be performed on an over the range model microwave oven WITHOUT uninstalling it.

You can refer to any of the following websites for comparison:

searspartsdirect.com
pcappliancerepair.com
appliancepartspros.com
repairclinic.com

The first three sites listed have helpful exploded view diagrams to assist you with locating and properly identifying the part(s) you may need.

The average price for a motor is about $35 to $45. If your model number is not listed at all the sites, use the part numbers from the Sears site and use them for your search criteria. The model numbers don't always cross reference, but the part numbers do. The part number for a replacement turn table motor for the model you have listed is RMOTDA254WRZZ (listed as item 1-3 under the "Oven and Cabinet" parts section. If your model number does not cross reference to all websites, use the part number from the Sears website as your search criteria.

NOTE: Even though the carousel may not be turning, you can still use the microwave while awaiting parts. You will need to physically rotate whatever you are heating about midway through the cook time to ensure even heating. Early model microwave ovens were not equipped with a rotating carousel and this was the common procedure.

Wont heat

Hi, there are three issues that will cause a no heat situation in a microwave. these issue are a failed Magnetron, busted cut-off fuse and, failed diode.

I recommend checking all these area that are located inside the microwave for faults.

The most common issue will be a failed Magnetron.

The diode and, fuse will be located on the noise filter assembly.
