Check its speaker first. If it is found OK, check and replace audio output board as card basis. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Click this link. View it in 'Flip card' option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner of the display window. It will make search easy. There are more than 900 posts to different brand TVs now.

Apple ipod touch 32gb wont turn volume up?

Here is a cool feature that will solve this problem: Just tap home twice. Doing a double tap on the home button brings up music controls no matter what you are doing, music, video, NES, Safari etc.

My SC BT100 is perfect until I use the IPOD dock, it works ok for 10mins but then 'blows'. the unit becomes very hot and wont turn back on until it has cooled down.

You are overpowering the Amplifier and it is protecting itself until it cools down.

The reason for this is that the output from the IPOD is already pre-amplified. If it didn't shut down you would either blow the Amplifier or Speakers.

If you keep the volume turned down to a minimum on your IPOD and use the volume control on your theater system you should be OK but still don't turn the theater system to full output.

Please leave feedback.

Works great , but Ipod dock only will give about half volume

All Ipod docks bypass the audio processor, so your volume and equalizer presets on the ipod will not work. Use the volume knob on the home theater unit itself.

How do i over-ride or reset the maximum volume limit on the nano 4g

ok maximum volume on the ipod will only work if you change it yourself. if you havent tried this yet, turn on your ipod then select settings then select volume limit and set it to whatever you want. if this doesnt work you can plug in your ipod and open up itunes and change it from there. the way you do this is right click on the song and click get info in the tabs select options and then you can set the volume limit there as well u can aplify the volume or change lower it

Harman Kardon go + play problem

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Appreciate the direct "Ask Me".

Initially, pls try cleaning the battery terminals. In some instances, it may be necessary to scrape them to remove corrosion. Still there are times they may have to be bent or stretched to ensure that they provide more pressure to the batteries. Alternately, pls try to confirm that the AC adapter is working by checking for the presence of voltage on the plug/connector with the use of a voltmeter.

Should the above not address your concern, then it is most likely that the problem is internal electronics and the unit is simply going into protective mode. You then have a choice of performing a DIY (do-it-yourself) or seeking the services of a qualified professional.

Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.

Auxilary RCA inputs have no volume control

Your problem stems from the fact that the CDA-7892 is not equipped with an RCA aux-input jack. If you're plugged into RCA connectors at the back of the head unit, they're outputs, not inputs. The sound you hear is just feeding back through the outputs and into the head unit's amplifier. If you want to play your iPod through this head unit, you need to purchase either the auxiliary input adapter (KCA-121B) or iPod adapter (KCA-420i).

IPod Shuffle...Volume control

you didnt specify one important thing: did the problem appeared one sunny day, or was it like this since you got the ipod? if it suddenly will not allow you to reach certain volume level (i mean something like - highest level is 10, but it will not go beyond 7), it is certainly a very weird problem. in this case you can send it for replacing, or you can try reseting the unit. just make sure you backup all data. if situation exists from day one, it might just be the way they made it. I heard lots of people complain about volume level in ipod. in this case you can either look on the net for any software that allow you to inclease volume (although im not sure if there are any for your model), or you can try a better set of earphones, that will give you more power. good luck.
