How to replace the impeller
I broke the outer circle of the impeller off with a screw driver and then used a Dremel tool to cut the plastic down to the shaft so I could break if off the threaded shaft.
SOURCE: trying to replace motor cant figure out how to remove impeller,
Might be a screw in middle of impeller with reverse thread. If so, remove. Remove back cover of motor, hold center shaft with wrench and unscrew impeller from shaft.

wow, thats odd. If you replaced every seal/o-ring and its still leaking its gotta be 1 of 2 things
You installed the shaft seal wrong- no disrespect, just a possibility
or there is a hairline crack somewhere you are missing...
Testimonial: "The shaft seal ould be a possibility but I think I'm OK there. However, I did check the pump again today and there was NO LEAK. Thanks anyway"
SOURCE: frozen impeller. What is
NOT ALL THE TIME THERE IS TWO TYPES, ONE HAS BRASS THREADS THE OTHER IS ALL PLASTIC, WHEN YOU UN-SCREW (LEFT) HOLD SHAFT AT BACK OF MOTOR WITH 7/16 WRENCH, PLASTIC IMPELLERS ON THE SMALL MOTORS CAN BE REUSED . BUT ON A 1.5 AND BIGGER.IT'S A MUST TO REPLACE IT WITH THE BRASS THREADED IMPELLER. I THINK YOU WILL FIND THAT THE MOTORS ROTOR IS LOCKED UP AND WILL NEED TO BE REBUILT, YOU MAY BE ABLE TO ROCK THE IMPELLER, AND WITH SOME LUCK FREE THE MOTOR.. GOOD LUCK, AND PRIME THAT PUMP AFTER ANY PUMP REPAIR !!.. JAY THE POOL PUMP REPAIR GUY IN LONGWOOD FLORIDA..
