When I instaled win,xp home addish. I got to large of a monitor size so I put in a video card and now it all work fine but I took it out of a good pc, How can or what do I do to get the onboard video plug to work properly. I have looked every were I canthink of and have nno install disk for this opiplex GX260... Funny think the unit looks like a GX280 but the button on it says it a 260...Hmm I lost for words I have everything elce running fine but the video plug. When you boot the unit go into bios setup, write down the displayed service tag number in the BIOS, this will ID the motherboard on the dell support site, then enter the tag number onto the dell download site and choose your OS and from the drop down menue select Video.

the onboard video for the 240 is an ATI eithe VE, 16mb,32mb.
the onboard video for260 is 3 different ATI's or 2 different Intel.

I just wanted to tell you I learned something today and it made me feel so dumb. I took out the video card and plugged it to the on board, then booted it up and WOW it worked.Then all I had to do was go to dell and download, and BAM it cleared up the picture.
