Logic had taught me that the first and best place to start trouble shooting a problem is with the Owners/Operators manual. When that doesn't work, reach out to those in the field that might have some expertise. That hasn't seemed to work either.

My computer was replaced after the car would not start. Dealer then found a faulty ground wire. I am wondering if the $1,500 computer needed to be replaced.

We could wonder along with you, because
we would have no way of knowing

There are several things people call computers,
that are just modules or processors & their all over
the car

The PCM/ECM whatever name you prefer, don't fail
often & have no real way to test, as you do with most
components. So,I would say there is a 70% chance
it was good.

Zenith volume issues

If you don't any Volume at all, unplug the TV from the wall for 40Min, and that will reset the audio processor back to normal, if that don't work, then chek for a audio amp IC that could be bad

Hi i purchased amd athlon x3 450 and only one core is showed in task manager, performance tab

Hi.

If your system is running XP then there is a file from Microsoft that you can download that may fix the problem. Remember once you have installed the fix you have to restart the computer for any changes to take effect.
Click on the link below for the download.

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=C2AB5A48-8240-4934-BBD8-34FB8A0FCE3B&displaylang=en

If your sysem is not XP and you are using Vista or Win 7 then don't download this fix as it will not work. Instead right click on Computer and select Properties from the sub menu. When the properties window comes up have a look at the processor under System and see if it shows how many cores the processor is currently showing.

Please let me know how you get on.

Good luck.

Runs slow, i do the basic like defrag, clean disk, delet history. internet files, thing of that nature but my hp is slow like my processor is out dated or my processor is trying to hard to complete simple...

Your computer has only 512MB of RAM.That will just barely run your XP,forget about doing anything else. You need a minimum of 1GB,2GB is even better.Your computer works in RAM not your hard-drive.The hard-drive is for storage, the RAM is for running your programs.
