Running real slow and loads up slow so I want to do a complete retore from the HD were there is a restore drive .so how do I do this ??
Im assuming you have the recovery disk Press the respective motherboard access key and check the motherboard BIOS for a boot sequence. Change the settings in the boot sequence so the primary boot device or the first boot drive is the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.
Insert the system recovery disc into the disc drive.
Restart the computer and allow it to boot up before doing anything. A black screen should show up with the words Press any key to boot from disc CD/DVD. Allow the system to load. Follow the on-screen instructions on how to install the rest of the operating system. There are many different settings for you to choose.
The system recovery disc will contain important drivers and software for all the components connected to the computer system.
If you do not have a system restore disc you can search the Internet for drivers and software that are packaged for your specific eMachines model.
Restore the BIOS to their default settings so the hard drive is primary boot sequence.
This is an optional step. You can leave the CD-ROM drive as the primary boot drive, but it will slow down the startup process by a few seconds.
Restart the computer and press the pause/break key on the keyboard.
This key will slow down the boot process and allow you to see the motherboard BIOS access key that you'll need to press in order to access the motherboard BIOS.
Press a key to have the system boot from the recovery disc.
If the operating system is just a little out of whack, you can choose to repair it.
hope this helps

boot your computer from a bootable cd then format the partition, then restore it, if the message is the same replace your hard drive.

I do not have a recovery disc, the restore is on the C drive in an other partition called D drive
back up any data you might need first Remove any discs that are in the optical drive and unplug the computer's peripheral devices, such as an Ethernet cable or scanner. Do not disconnect the keyboard, mouse or monitor.Click the Windows "Start" menu and choose "All Programs." Navigate to "eMachines" and choose "eMachines Recovery Management." Click the "Restore" tab. Click "Password Settings" if you have not already set a recovery password. Type a new password in the text box and click "OK." Click "Restore System to Factory Default." Type the recovery password and click "OK." Click "Next" to wipe the eMachines computer's hard drive and begin the recovery process Select "Finish" and wait for the eMachines computer to restart. Use the series of installation prompts that appear on the screen to create a new user account for your operating system, set the system date and time, and set up your Internet settings.
