The is no waste container on Phaser 6500. There is a "waste collection box" in every toner cartridge and the waste toner is discarded along with the empty cartridge. The is also a waste toner reservoir on the transfer belt and this one will be replaced along with the transfer belt.

If there is an error message saying, for example, "Waste Full Cyan Cartridge", it means the waste toner counter reached the replacement value for that color and you have to replace the corresponding cartridge. But the waste collection box is not really full.

Ink Absorber Near Full

Like the garbage-bin in your kitchen, that holds all the "waste" from your food preparation,
there is a container that absorbs all the "waste" ink from your printer.

Change that container.
Reset the printer, to say that the new container is 0% full.

Any qualified printer technician can do this for you, safely, quickly, and correcly.

Can't not print. Please tell me .....why? i'm printting is suddenly: E1 CHG. WST. T. CTN i don't understand

This error message usually means that your waste toner storage is full and it has to be changed. If this is not done you will have issues with printing. Check your user manual and see where the waste toner container is and it will also give you numbers for reordering new container from manufacturers site. Hope this helps.

The screen on my Phaser 6110 MFP says "Remove/Install Waste toner tank." I don't know what that is.

The life of the waste toner container unit is approximately 1,250 pages

for full color 5% image printing or 5,000 images for black printing. When

the life span of the waste toner container has expired, Replace/Install

Waste Toner Tank appears on the display of the control panel,

indicating the waste toner container needs to be replaced. Otherwise

your printer stops printing.

To replace the waste toner container:

1 Turn the machine off, then wait a few minutes for the machine to

cool.

2 Open the front cover.

3 Pull the waste toner container out of the machine using its handle.

4 Remove the container's cap from the container as shown below,

and use it to close the waste toner container opening.

5 Take a new waste toner container out of its package.

Tip

Make sure that you lay the waste toner container on a flat

surface so that the toner does not spill.

Caution

Do not tilt or turn the tank over.

6 Insert the new container into position and then push it to make sure

that it is firmly seated in place.

7 Close the front cover firmly.

8 Turn the machine on.

Caution

If the front cover is not completely closed, the machine will not

operate.

Tip

After rebooting, your machine will automatically reset the
counter for the waste toner container

Replace waste toner tank Does it mean that the toner is already used

Open your user manual.

Or get one - go to google or samsung.

To replace the waste toner container:

1 Turn the machine off, then wait a few minutes for the machine to cool.

2 Open the front cover.

3 Pull the waste toner container out of the machine using its handle.

--- above from manual, following is my paraphrasing due to lack of pictures ---
4. remove the container cap from the back side and cap the opening

5. take the new waste container out of its package

6. install the new waste toner container.

___________
You may wish to TRY EMPTYING the waste toner, but you will find toner is the messiest and possibly dangerous (inhallation, etc) stuff you've worked with. it is an extremely find powder and can cause an awful mess and is best disposed of by capping and replacing the container with a new one (shop around to find them).

DO NOT attempt to vacuum up toner - just my personal opinion - I suspect many vacuums may not have fine enough "bags" to capture this intentionally very fine dust. BUT Toner vacuums do exist and some "may" work.

How to change waste pad??

hello!

try this and check if it will work:

1. Press and hold "Stop", "Maintenance", and "Power" buttons for about 10 seconds. A message will come on the screen saying counter is reset and to turn the printer off. The R200 and others don't have a screen so just wait until the 10 seconds is up. 2. Turn the printer off, unplug the power cord. Wait about 1 minute and power the printer back up. The counter will be reset. That's all there is to the reset procedure. Is the waste pad full ? If the waste pad is actually full and ink is about to overflow, then you need to install a waste container. You can see the waste pad by opening the access panel on the back of the printer. Changing the waste pad requires almost complete disassembly of the printer, it is a big job. There is an easier way. Open the access panel on the rear of the printer (remove screw) and look inside carefullly with a flashlight. You will see a tube (down and to your left) coming from the cleaning pump and it will have an open end on it. This is the tube that delivers ink to the waste pad. Use a piece of coathanger wire or equivalent, and fish out this piece of tube. Bring it to the outside of the printer, thru the access panel. Find yourself a suitable container (Tupperware or a plastic cup or jar) that is not too tall. Put the tube into this container and secure the tube and container so they won't come apart or lose connection if the printer is moved. If you wish you can make a hole or notch in the access panel cover so it can be replaced. Now the ink will go into this container and not into the waste pad inside the printer. If it gets full, dump it.
