Toilet will not flush fast enough

Th problem is not in the flushing handle. You have a problem in the out take. Chances are there is something in the trap as it is taking the waste out OR your flapper is closing up too fast in the tank thus not allowing enough water into the bowl.

Tank needs more water and the flapper has to stay open longer by adjusting chain so the flapper goes up higher when you flush the unit. Practice and you will get it right.

change and or adjust the flapper valve if the chain is to long flapper wont stay open long enough for the water to drain into the bowl

lift off cover and adjust =shorten length= between flapper and handle lever

Which style of flush valve do you have? If it is the dual-flush option (solids/liquids) I do not know how to adjust those. If you have a traditional style, then the flapper or ball is closing too soon. You need to adjust the guide arm (flush ball) higher or shorten the chain between the flapper and the handle. Adjust this carefully or you will have it fail to seat and the toilet will constantly run.

Your going to the wrong store instead of home depot Try Ace hardware they will have the parts you need there.Also some of the new toilets have a flapper valve that has a hole in them and they don't work very good so replace the flapper valve with one without a hole in the flapper and one that has a float on it this way the float will hold the toilet open long enough to flush and not stop in the middle of flushing. The handle should be a standard handle. If you need more help ask and I will give you more information.

Assuming we are talking about a standard flush toilet, it sounds like the internal flush actuator lever is hitting the top of the toilet on the inside. Remove the lid, hold the exterior handle. and carefully bend the lever down a little. Also make sure the lever hasn't slipped or is loose. Put the lid back on try again. Repeat until the toilet flushes with the lid on.

Make sure the flapper is holding water in tank. if it is leaking, then when you go to flush there is not enough of water to flush. to check for leaking flapper,take a pack of kool-aid and dump it into tank of toilet. dont flush toilet. let set for 10-15 mins. if the flapper is leaking,the color of kool-aid will show up in bowl. hope this helps.

MAKE SURE YOUR FLOAT INSIDE THE TOILET IS'NT SITTING TO LOW TRY HOLDING IT UP WHEN FLUSHING THE TOILET FOR A FEW SECS TO SEE IF THIS COULD BE THE PROBLEM ALSO CHECK THE WATER LEVEL INSIDE THE BOWL MAKE SURE IT IS'NT TO LOW
