To Fix VIZIO ... No Signal ....
..... When TV OFF ...
Hold Down 2 Buttons .... MENU + INPUT ....
Power will ON ...
Change INPUT quickly within 3 Sec.
.... to HDMI or Others ...
Unplug the power cord while its unplug hold down the power button for one minute the let go and plug it back up
This is normal on vizios, ours does it too. You have it switched onto RGB input. You need to change input after it comes on. Switch on and keep pressing change input button till it changes and then it will be fine. Alternatively plug in a computer on Rgb and then turn on, you will be able to change input normally.
SOURCE: Tv shuts off after 2 seconds
This is made by LG / Zenith. They have had alot of problems with there TV's.It most likely has an inverter board going bad or could be power supply board. It will cost to much to repair. Get an extended warranty when you buy a new one. It will pay for itself.
SOURCE: why does it say no signal with a blue screen
Assumtions, but you should check:
Make sure the cable/antenna is attached properly
If you have a cable service, make sure it's active.
On initial power up, use the menu to navigate to the input selection screen, and choose the correct option for your application. Also worth noting is that there is a second menu page where you select cable or antenna. Check that too.
Please post your findings.
Thanks.
Joe
SOURCE: I turn on the tv and i get a blue screen for 5
Hey bbendure, I have a similar/same same problem! My model is a GV42L.
It has a blue screen that says no signal t, then it turns itself off in about 20 seconds.
Is this the same problem you see?
