There is an easier solution. Forget wifi and connect it directly to your CAT-5 or CAT-6 cable. You get faster crystal clear hi-def reception. Not near the modem, or router? No problem: go to Radio Shack and buy a Powerline (adapter) ... it will send your network signal to any elecrical outlet in your house on the same circuit. I have a tv beautifully mounted on a wall and wifi sucks but I don't want a network cable running up the wall. A $70 Netgear Powerline 500 will send at speeds as high as 500Mbps to your tv. And you can tap it directly from the same electrical outlet that your tv is plugged into. If you don't want to spend $70: then go search the internet for an inexpensive "off brand" powerline adapters at half the price. They work just as good if youre not hung-up about brand-names and worried about warranties. Trust me, they are all made in China anyway. You can connect PCs to your network in every room without running cables.

You need to setup all you computer network to home network not public network because in order to connect you need to have a password which you need for every system in your home. Consider which computer is your main system. Then go to control panel and select networking icon and select network status. Now click on where it says Public Network or even Home Network and re choose home network and right down the code password. Then click ok and you are set. Go to your TV and choose to setup network, then choose to detect network automatically and choose your network. Then type in your password and you are set. Try it now and you should be able to view your photos, videos and so on. Good luck and let me know you you go!!

Screen mirroring for Roshan smart tv to my Samsung phone

Under your settings menu on your TV there should be an option for allowing a connection to devices casting to the TV. Ensure your TV is capable of this first. If you provide the model number of the Roshan I can be of more help.

After you've verified that your TV is connected to the same Wifi network as your Samsung phone, swipe down from the top of your Samsung, swipe down again to bring up the device controls. Scroll right until you find the icon titled "Smart View". Click on it and it will scan your network for compatible devices to cast your phone to for mirroring or playback. Your Roshan, if configured correctly, should be displayed in this menu.

hi Deanna.
this is all i could find out from the internet.
If your TV is connected to internet, press the Menu button on your remote device and select the Network option. Select the Network Settings and then, select IP settings option. The existing IP address of your TV appears. It will be a private IP address if you are using router to connect to your ISP..

Network issues with Samsung Smart TV UN60JU6500FXZA

You mention two separate issues, WiFi and smart hub. As you know Samsung built in manual is the worst idea ever. There is no picture of the complete rear panel connection for example.
If the smart hub is the actual WiFi antenna then if your system doesn't recognize Smart Hub then you have a bad smart hub.
to test smart hub plug something into hub ( DVD HDMI, video game) If your remote has smart hub button press and see what appears. Otherwise select source on remote see if your attached item appears. (That would indicate smart hub does talk to TV)!
Since you can access your network when hard wired your network password is stored.
Once you have verified Smart Hub is functional then work on WiFi.
i will say my Samsung is 3 ft from my router and hard wired for better streaming speed.
I use Bluetooth access to share photos from IPads.
I would leave TV hard wired.

It will be written on a label somewhere on your wireless router/access point, which is in most cases the box provided to you by your internet provider to let you access the internet.

You'll most likely be prompted for a password as well, this is also found on the same sticker.

Samsung 55" turns ON/OFF by itself and will not connect to wifi network

I have the same issue. I read and watched online tutorials about the compositors but after opening the set up I was unable to find any that had gone bad. I was able to upgrade the software by using a USB thumb drive but the issues are still there. I'm thinking of swapping out the motherboard and/or the power board next to see what the fix is.
