Power cuts out - cords have all been tested and are good.
If you are experiencing the problem of it cycling between the amber "NU" logo and then another screen such as the desktop and then back to the "NU" logo you have a defective internal power supply and need to have it fixed under warranty. Allot of these NUs are show up with this problem.
I also have a Nu L921G monitor that is having the exact same problem (screen cycles between the orange Nu logo and the screen its supposed to be displaying). I can actually hear a faint noise (sounds like static discharge) each time the monitor cycles. Of course, my warranty expired 3 months ago! I tried contacting Nu to see what a repair would cost - no luck, these guys are impossible to contact. They don't reply to emails and nobody answers the phone. They also have a horrible online registration process with poorly worded instructions.
If anybody knows of a way to get through to Nu, please post. I will never buy from a 2nd-tier company like Nu again. Before considering any vendor, check out their online support site to see how difficult it is to use before making a decision.
Just got a call from a rep at Nu. He was very polite and apologetic and told me the repair would cost $20 for a new power supply board, $30 for labor, and round-trip UPS shipping. That puts the repair price at roughly 50% of a new monitor (with a larger screen).
Given that power supplies are one of the most common failure mechanisms in consumer electronics, the lesson learned is to buy your next LCD monitor with an external power brick (although they can be a hassle if you don't have much room).

Hi there,
my L921G had same problem. The root cause was 3 defective capacitors (470uF/25V) in the power supply - you can tell it by a swelled top (prone to eventually burst). Capacitors replaced, and monitor works.
Tools required: Philips screw drivers #1 and #2, and solder iron.
Parts required: 3 capacitors 470-680uF / 25V (switch mode quality recommended).
The operations is quite simple and is completed within 1 hour or so.
Good luck and best regards
