H700 headset can't hear me!

Hi.. I have an H700 headset(used with a Nokia 6288) which has been working fine for ages but it has now decided to go 'mute' on me. I can hear everything perfectly but nobody can hear me and it doesn't hear me even to do voice dialling. I can't find my little instruction book and wondered if anyone knows if I've pushed buttons in a wierd sequence or something!

My H700 was working fine and one day it went mute - I can hear people but they can't hear me. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it 3 times.

Push both volume buttons at once to turn Mute off. You should hear two beeps, ascending in pitch to indicate mute is off. If they go down in pitch mute is being turned on.

H700 is paired...I can hear the caller but they can not hear me? Any help would be appreciated.

I actually had this same problem within the 1st year I had my H700 headset. I had to carefully pry open the flip end and remove a small piece of fabric that had been put inside by the manufacturer. After I had done this, everyone I talked to when I used the headset could hear me just fine. I am not really sure why it worked since all I did was take out a tiny piece of black fabric but it seemed to. I was able to also close the flip end back up as if I had never opened it and it still stays closed. I have still been able to use the headset even after about 5-6 months later but I did get an extra headset to have around if I need it.

Phone shows its on headphone but its not

This mostly happens from water damage to the connection ports. Use some 91% alcohol and wipe the connections with a toothbrush. Hopefully it will disconnect from headset mode

Won't detect Motorola H700

Hi David, I want you to go to this link for your nokia E65. Click the link.
http://europe.nokia.com/link?cid=PLAIN_TEXT_119729

On the left side of the page click Demos
When the demo window opens click, Select Demos button.
Scroll through the list until you see Sending Via bluetooth.
Follow the interactive instruction to connect to your H700.
You'll need to set your H700 into pairing mode when searching for the bluetooth H700.
It might be a good idea to book mark the main page.

Good Luck! Take your time.
