I posted a pssible solution. If yours has not been fixed yet, let me know if it works.
Usually the error code 01 means you backed up water in the unit. First be sure that the drain is clear. Run the garbage disposal and be sure your sinks are draining.
I got lucky on a EIDW6105 unit by trying this.
All the lights are flashing and it shows error code 01.
Push down on two of the buttons and hold (I pushed on the Favorite and Heavy buttons), until the flashing stops (about 8 seconds).
The machine now showed and error code 08. Then hit the start button. My washer then cleared and runs normally.
Hope this helps, better than a sevice call to clear the code.
Haven't tried your solution but I'm keeping it in mind. I talked to a repairman and he suggested I remove the panel at the bottom of the dishwasher (left side). There I will see a red button which is the control board processor reset button.
This worked but if the problem reoccurs I will try your solution as it is easier than removing a panel.
Hello friend, thanks for your post!
Based off the information you provided your Electrolux washer is displaying "0.00". Typically any error code that is labeled "00" means no error code stored, which means it's a false error code. I would recommend performing a reset on your washer due erase any false error codes. You can do that by disconnecting the power from your appliance, by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker, for ten minutes.
If this step does not help resolve the problem please provide me with the new error code or if your display continues to show "0.00" I would suggest seeking assistance from a professional to come out and properly diagnosis your washer. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt
Hello Shirley - Typically error code ER01 indicates that a water leak is detected under the tub. Unit will possibly need a hydraulic kit. Try unplugging the unit or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. Could the error code DF possibly be PF? If so, PF means power failure and you should be able to start a cycle. If the error code continues to display on dishwasher then I suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose and repair it.

Thanks for the infomation on where the reset is. The Electrolux support line refused to tell us where it was. They should have put it just behind the kickplate.
Requiring a service call to clear an error code 1 is crazy.
