Help with proper hookup

I have a high def motorolla cable box, play station 3, samsung LN52A650, and an older receiver ONKYO Integra DTR-5.1. I have the playstation and tv on the way and want to make sure that I have the proper cables and configeration lined up for when they arrive. The receiver isnt HDMI so this is creating my confusion. I am thinking that this is how I will hook it up, is it correct?
HDMI from cable box to TV, HDMI from playstation to TV, optical from cable to receiver, and optical from playstation to receiver.
I want to use the surround sound for everything and the main use for the playstation will be blue ray... Thank you!

HDTV HDMI hookup

Connect a HDMI cable from your source device (cable box, Bluray, satellite receiver) to your HDTV for High Def video and audio. This is the best hookup for HD, even 1080p. For 3D HDTV, make sure to get a high-speed category 2 HDMI cable. Select proper HDMI input on the TV using the remote. HDMI means High Definition Multimedia Interface.
Any newer digital TV (made after 2008) should have at least one HDMI input.

I am not getting any audio (sound) out of my Integra DTR 4.6. Any suggestions?

Does the vu meter show anything(bars moving up and down when audio is present? If so you may have a blown fuse or bad IC in the amplifier section causing the problem. If there is no indication of audio on the front panel it would be a Microprocessor problem

You will have a defective processor pcb. You may want to see if you can get Integra to give you a one time repair on this.

How do I set up an Integra DTR 7.8 for 3D display and audio

Your DTR-7.8 receiver is not 3D compatible. It does not support the new 1.4 HDMI. You have to have 1.4 HDMI and 1.4 cables for the 3D format.

You can bypass your receiver for the video though. Simply run your HDMI cord (1.4) from your Blue Ray to your Projector. Your audio can be ran from your Blue ray to your reciever.
