Does anybody know where I can download the latest firmware for a Micradigital Wireless Cable/DSL Router 54Mbps 802.11g. The Model Number on the bottom is F5D7230-4-E and the Version number is showns as ver. 2002uk. Several sites claim it is made by Belkin, and I have to admit the interface does look similar to many of Belkin's routers, but I have tried downloading the various firmwares for the F5D7230 series of router from the Belkin support website only to be told that the image(s) I have downloaded are not correct for the router. Please help!

try uninstalling the router... have the install disc handy to reinstall... once your back up and running. download belkin updates and encrypt your network... also run windows update. there maybe a fix included for your belkin vs windows platform.

I had the same problem. My Belkin N1 Router was constantly dropping the WiFi connection (every few minutes). I tried several solutions I found on different forums:
Change the channel selection from Auto to a specific channel -- I tried all 13 channels, but no improvement.
Update the firmware to the latest (Beta) version -- still no improvement.
Finally I enabled "Protected Mode" and the connection seems fine now. Hope this helps, and good luck!
SOURCE: belkin wireless router not assigning IPs for wireless clients
Some routers start handing out DHCP wireless IP's at 192.168.2.100. Try setting the upper limit at .110. If the router is found in a site survey (view wireless networks) but cannot connect, the limitation would be why.

Hi I don't know the answer to your question, but I wonder if you could help me as I have the same router but can't find out which of the power supplies in my cupboard to use with it as it has no info on the router itself. I just need to know the voltage and current. many thanks Phil
