I got my bsnl broadband connecteion yesterday, they provide me with c2110 nokia siemens network it has four lights power, link, data and pc/usb. when i try to connect it first of all two lights comes power and pc/usb then blinkingly "link" light becomes regular after some time .then i try to connect through my dial up but it gives error 678.please help me that wht should i do.i have checked all the wires all are working..

First of all connect with the cable computer and your ethernetcard and phoneline to your modem c2110 and then turn on the power of your modem,then type the address 192.168.1.1 at the explorer bar.Their you will find a pop up requesting you to enter username and password,enter the admin as username and admin as the password.Then proceed and just click on configuration given on the left side of the page,after clicking three subheadings you will find first local network the other internet and the third one DSl home, then just click on the internet their you will find several things to edit but you only click on the edit button infront of where "pppoe_0_35" is written, after that just do next and next untill you will find at one place Broadbandusername and Broadbandpassword, their u enter the username and password provided by the BSNL, after that click on the APPLY button,and wait for few seconds. and then close the window,and now enjoy surfing internet.

try 192.168.1.1 with login: admin password: admin in internet explorer. Hope of some help but be careful to make any chnages untill and unless you undertstand each and every thing.
