well usually you have to remove the knobs. thentake all of the caps off of the burners. sometimes there are scres that hold the burner caps on. make sure you turn the power off. Then after you have done this the glass should come right off. If not there may be screws under the cooktop. Do these first steps and let me know how it goes.

Hi

It seems like you got water into the ignitor switches on under the knobs. Sometimes it takes 48 hours for this to dry out. Or you can pull the knobs and use a hair dryer on to dry out the switches. Also you can try to clean it. Please refer to the link and picture: e11b706.gif Please do accept the solution and revert for further assistance. Thanks Rylee

Igniters on my Bosch gas cooktop not working. I guess it needs cleaning. How do I do it?

You can try to clean the two pins with degreaser and then soap and water using a skrubby sponge for delicate surfaces However, my Bosch cooktop has had problems with the igniters (particularly on two burners) which required the replacement of the control unit. This requires opening the unit completely and replacing the white plastic box and connections to each burner. It is easy enough to do, but it is a bit scary to lift off the glass as there is probably an adhesive which one has to lift the top off of. Another thing you can try is to adjust the two screws that are uderneath the removable cover of the burner. Sometimes just tightening or loosening them a bit can solve the problem

Replacing stove top ignitor

Remove the burner cap and lift the burner the igniter is fitted through the burner and held with a circlip underneath you will probably need to lift the top to access the wiring back to the igniter pack.

I found this......

I read it and it's on replacing but the top comes out.
Gloves are a good idea too. Cut power at the breaker.
unless easy access to the wiring/plug.
Hope this helps you.
Have a good evening.

Large burner not operating

do a continuity test on the burner itself if you have continuity in the burner then you would check for power at the receptacle to assure that you have power at the receptacle please remember to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation and if i can answer any futher questions message me back thanks again

FRONT BURNER HAS NEVER WORKED, HOW CAN I OPEN FLAT TOP AND TRY TO FIX IT?

First, determine if the burner element works by swapping it with a similar sized element on the stove. The eyes pull up and out away from where they go under the deck. If the burner works, the problem is likely with the receptacle, which is located below the deck. Trip your stove breaker, which is located at the panel by your meter. Make sure that the power is off completely. Raise the stovetop (deck) by lifting the front edge of the deck sharply. Some tops have a rod to hold them up; some do not. The receptacle has a screw that holds it to the top, and sometimes a clip. You can check the voltage at the receptacle. If the receptacle has any evidence of chipping, or having been burnt or damaged, it should be replaced. Replacement receptacles can be obtained at Lowes, H/Depot, similar. You'll have to cut the wires on the old one, install the shrink tubing, install the new receptacle, make up the connections, tape them up and apply the shrink tubing supplied. Sounds like a lot, but there relly isn't much to it. It takes longer to tell it than to do it! (Once you've done it a few times!)

Thermador wcggcv30 gas cooktop - how to remove glass top

Remove the brass ring nuts and the screw from each of the burners and pull off the knobs, then lift up the glass cooktop; no need to remove the three screws around the perimeter or even take out the box.
