I have a Soyo DYLT032C 32; the power comes on but no picture or sound, just a blue screen. The buttons on the tv will not work either. I know I need a new remote but shouldn't the buttons (for changing channels and volume) on the tv work?
Thanks...
Long story short:
Had the same problem with my Soyo.
Thought it was the power supply board problem that everyone else was reporting.
ordered one. Plugged it in. Did not work.
Inspected the Main/Logic board and found what looked like a black button that could be depressed. It is located to the right of main processor on the board. You can't really miss it.
With the TV plugged in, I pressed the suspect button. The TV made a buzzing/clicking noise for a few moments and the stuck blue illuminated power button faded away.
Curious by this, I pressed the power button and low and behold the TV comes to life!
Looks like I found a "reset" button which seems to have fixed my problem.
Thanks Soyo for not bothering to mention that such a button exists.
I hope the rest of you have the same good luck. In the event you are still in need of a power supply board, email me. I have a spare now it seems. ;)

I HAVE FOUND 2 2200uf CAPS ON THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD THAT ARE PUFFED UP. CHANGING THEM USUALLY SOLVES THE PROBLEM. THERE'S ALSO A RESET BUTTON ON THE MAIN BOARD YOU MAY NEED TO RESET AFTER CHANGING THE CAPS.

After what I thought was a fumbling at the remote, I have no sound on this TV. Two calls to customer service resulted in "you need to take it to a repair shop." Is this a sound board replacement, or an internal reset fix? The set is less than 3-years old...just out of warranty.
I have almost the same problem, but it is just sound. The last thing I did was to fumble with the remote. After an hour of trying to resolve the issue and two calls to customer service, I was told to take it to a repair shop.
The set is less than 3-years old and feel that there is an easy fix for it, but what?
