If it does not rotate, more than likely the belt has either come off, or is broken. Lift up the turntable platter, and you'll see what the issue could be. The platter just lifts right up.

My turntable dont have a belt and is spining to fast on 33/45 can you please help me.

It's a direct drive turntable. That means the platter is actually mounted directly to the motor spindle, and electronics control the speed of the motor -- no belt needed. Most likely the electronic speed regulator has failed or is out of adjustment. Take it to a repair shop and get an estimate on how much it will cost to fix it. Sometimes it's cheaper to buy a new one than it is to repair an old one.

Denon auto lp turntable -model dp=29f

Lift the rubber cover off- there should be an opening or two in the metal or plastic turntable platter. Rotate it slowly until you see the motor pulley sticking-up; use a nail file to gently pull the belt from the bottom of the turntable over the pulley. rotate slowly to verify and then put the rubber cover back on. Let me know how it goes. Thanks.

Aiwa AP-2600 Direct Drive Turntable - platter not rotating

if the platter is removable by you and easily, might need just a little cleaning and lube at the center . the platter is the top rotating plate that you were pushing to get started.simply pulls out around a center key. check with local service shops how much they would charge for this kind of cleaning and lubing. $25.00 might be a good price to allow a decision, whether to buy a new.

The rubber band under the record player has come off

I am not familiar with your particular model of turntable, but typically the belt is easily accessible under the platter (rotating metal disc). Remove the platter (it often just lifts off, but don't force anything) and then you will be free to reattach the belt. Good luck!

Repairing

Try putting 1 only, drop of sewing machine oil on motor at shaft and let it soak in while manually rotating shaft being careful not to get oil on anything else and see if this helps.

Turntable does not rotate when switched 'on'.

Throw it from a second story window then smash it with a sledgehammer. That's what I plan to do with mine.

Technics sl-1610 mk 2 turntable

Unfortunately, it does sound like a drive issue. Just so you know, these units are direct drive, so there is no physical motor. It's just a bunch of various circuits which drive the unit, and if any one of them go bad, it will affect your turntable speed. You will need to have this looked at by a service technician to determine which circuit is faulty.
