When you try to turn on the tv, both with the remote or with the power button on the TV......the green light flickers....but the TV won't turn on. You can hear it try to turn on...but the green light goes off and no power or picture shows. We have tried to unplug the TV for awhile, but no change.

generally this means a bad digital module.. as a techinican the first thing that we would check are what is know as standby voltages. if they were there we would replace digital module.! question. Does it blink for more than 70 seconds. This unit comes with a lockout feature. to unlock press and hold menu down for 10 seconds on front panel.

You need to replace the 1000uf capacitors on the DM board thats the classic symptom of the DM caps being bad the light continues to blink repeatedly. If you need more info on the repair let me know.

You will need to cahnge the capacitors on the DM board, very common problem. The V21 V19 DM repair kit at the following link contains the replacement capacitors and detailed instructions. Its listed under the repair kits catagory at the following link.
