If you are using the KX-T7730 phone on a Panasonic KX-Txx 308/616/824 system. From the Switcboard / Main telephone ( ext 101, 10 or 9 ) with the handset on the cradle/hook press Program * # followed by the system password ( default is 1234). Now press 000 and then Sp-Phone.Enter the year and then scroll to the month with the right scroll key (located at the right bottom corner of the phone). To change the month use the AUTO ANS / MUTE button. Now scroll right again and change the date and day. To change the day again use the AUTO ANS / MUTE button. Now scroll right again and the time will appear. Set the time. To change am/pm scroll to it and again use the AUTO ANS / MUTE button. Press Program to exit program mode and you are done.

I have a Panasonic Telephone KX-TGCA21. How to reset the Date and Time

The handset is KX-TGCA21. This handset communicates with the Panasonic KX-TG403SK or the KX-TG433SK phone systems.

To set the date and time, press Menu (the right hand soft-key below the LCD screen) on one of the handsets when the system is in standby (no calls on any handset). Then press # 1 0 1 . Type the current date (month, day, year) using two digits for each. So today would be 06 15 18. Press OK, again the soft-key. Then type in the current time, again with 2 digits for the hour and for the minutes. Use a 12-hour clock if the phone is set for English. In this case, press * to select AM or PM. If your system is set for Spanish language menus, use a 24-hour clock. Press Save (with the appropriate soft-key). Then press Off to exit the menu system.

If you want to navigate through the menu without typing # 1 0 1, choose Initial Settings, press Select. Then choose Set Date and Time. Press Select. Finally choose Date and Time and press Select again. Enter the date and time as above.

The first method to set the date and time is given on page 13 of the manual. The second is shown in the menu tree on page 22. The manual is available from Panasonic here: ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/telephone/om/kx-tg403_en_om.pdf .

I hope this helps.

How do we keep our Panasonic KX-T7731 from changing back to night mode? I recently reset the time and every time I do it changes to night mode. How do I permanently set my phone system on day mode?

This has about 5 different conditions, so let me start somewhere.

Pretending your 7731 is connected to a recent Panasonic KSU, like a TA series, you have the ability to set the time by hand, or CID delivered in the first call after 2 or 3 AM will do it. If the sender is still on standard time (typical with VoIP delivered CID), then it will reset the clock to a different time (-1 hour) every day and it will be noticed if you set the clock and the first call of the day follows.

In addition, via programming from the main phone, you can set manual or automatic switching for day, night, and lunch modes. That procedure is outlined in the Programming Manual for your system, but it involves setting the clock times in Maintenance console 1.4 or programs 006 and 007.

If you absolutely want to never have to deal with clocks or night mode, then set 006 to manual and dial 781# on the intercom from the main phone (x101).

Note that this is only the solution for TA series KSU's.

Change the time on phone system

1) press "Program", then * *, then 1234,
2) press "0 0 0",
3) press "speaker" two times,
4) change the time
5) press "store".
6) pick up the receiver to complete the change.

Do this change on the "lead" phone and it will reset all the others on your system. Not exactly an intuitive process to be sure!
