While sewing on singer quantum futura ce-200 sewing machine, thread bunchedup on underside of fabric and bobbin case flew out more than once.

  • crochetlover Dec 31, 2008

The tension is tight no matter what I do. While embroidery, the

bobbin thread shows up covering up all top thread. Then the bobbin case comes out of the machine. I have tried cleaning it well, changing needles, changing thread and many other ideas and nothing works. It seems like the timing maybe way off. I have used it very little for sewing. I bought cross -stitch software, hyper font software, and photo software and have not been able to use them because right now my machine is useless.

Mine did this and it seemed impossible to fix. My problem was a tiny bit of thread stuck in the bobbin cover (but it could be anywhere in the thread route). I ran dental floss through the path the thread follows and also in the bobbin cover and poof out came a small piece of thread that all my looking missed. Hope this helps.

Singer ce-200 jerks between stitches only when it goes slow.

Are you using a good quality bobbin thread? Is the machine cleaned and oiled? Is the bobbin in place like it supposed to be?

Mine is doing the same thing. It's pulling the thread up from the bobbin and making a huge knot. Any suggestions. I've done all the above checks. Brand new needle, tension is on embroidery, threaded properly and no lint in bobbin compartment.

Singer futura beeping every 8 stitches can you solve this .i have changed needles bobbin cases but still doing it but is sewing ok just stops to beep

Make sure your thread goes under the plate of the carrousel. If not the machine think is not threaded and it beeps. Thread the machine with your left hand and Pull the thread with your other hand to make sure it "clicks" to every part of the machine.

Another important detail is to add thread nets to your spool. After some used the tension of the machine is affected and the nets help the slippery thread to be pulled by the machine correctly and avoiding the beeping.

Singer Futura 350

Dear Wendy,

The E4, error message means the safety device is activated. Machine is locked up due to thread entangled with the bobbin case. Remove the needle plate and bobbin case. Check for any thread around the hook area. Also check your handwheel. It should turn freely. Good Luck

A brand new Singer Quantum Futura CE 200 Sewing/Embroidery machine, have not been able to embroider or sew a single stich, all I have been able to do is wind the bobbin. When I'm going to start...

Dear Magarita, The safety device is activated when thread gets entangled around the bobbin case. First check by removing the plastic see-through plate. If necessary remove the 2 scews on the metal needle plate and remove the bobbin case completely. Put it back and test by turning the handwheel. It should turn freely.

Hope this solves your problem.

BOBBIN SLIPPING AND STOP EMBROIDERY

First, call the technician and see if he will honor a warranty on his repair work. Next, sew on the machine until it messes up again. Do NOT take all the stuff loose. Take the machine, the garment, the thread, everything just as it is to the technician. Don't even lift the presser foot. He will probably find the problem.

Usually, on a problem such as this, it is the wrong bobbin, the bobbin inserted the wrong way, the tension not working , not threaded correctly, a rough spot on the bobbin case or the bobbin case is not properly positioned. Some times the thread jumps out of the thread take up lever.
