How do change the date on my citizen divers watch

Hi,

Hope this will helped you fixing the time of your Citezen divers watch. Just foolow the instruction below.

Change your Citizen watch's time zone without actually moving the clock hands. On the digital display, change the city that displays on the watch, which sets the time to the different time zone. The Citizen also has a calendar, timer, chronograph and LED lights. Since it is an Eco Drive watch, it is solar powered so you never have to replace the batteries unless its backup power source dies.
Difficulty: Easy Instructions

  1. Pull the setting knob (crown) out one "tick" for setting mode.

  2. Set the mode hand to "WT-S."

  3. Pull the crown out one more "tick."

  4. Press the top button on the right side of the watch for the city setting mode.

  5. Press the lower button on the right side to "SET" the city.

  6. Turn the crown to select a different city, which changes the time zone.

  7. Push the crown all the way back in to finish setting the time.

Thank you for using Fixya.

Describe your Citizen Skyhawk Eco-Drive JR306059F Wrist Watch Problem: How to correct 0 position of 24 four hour hand. I think its done in conjunction with hour hand but how?

Here is how to correct the 0 Position for your watch.

While your the crown of your watch is down in the starting position , turn the crown until the mode hand (this is the circle at the bottom of the face) reaches CHR

At this time now pull out the crown until it clicks two times, two the second setting of the crown.

This will bring the watch to the 0 position correction function.
you can turn the crown clock wise to correct the hour hand.

press the a button to switch hand to second, or press again to switch to minute. Then use crown again to correct 0 position.

The hour and the 24 hour hand is in conjunction with each other.

then push down the crown all the way in and you should be all set.

Citizen eco-drive BM8084-58H: I cannot change the date/day on the watch moving the crown.

mcdevito75 here, The crown should be a 2 position crown, try this, pull out the crown as if to set the hands, rotate the hands, (adjust the time) around the dial until you have the right day, Now! push the crown in, Now! slip your finger nail just under the crown and lift the crown to it"s first notch or position, this should allow you to turn the crown and adjust the date, when at the date push the crown back in and your done.

We just went back to standard time and I forgot how to change that on my Citizens blue angel watch. Where can I find a resource to help, Dale

The generic answer is to pull on the crown one or two clicks and rotate the crown. Hopefully this will apply to your watch. If it has push buttons then you might go online and search on the Citizen website for a manual or instructions..Good luck

I own 3 Citizen ECO watches that have lost their charge.

Hiya Papahay,

are the crowns out at time set mode. This mode activates a 'hack device' ( a small spring in the watch) which will cut power to the circuit.

With the crown out and under light (even a desklamp directly with in a few mms above them) should do the trick.

These capacitors do need replacing, I suggest give the above a go for a least 24 hrs straight and go from there. When there are fully charge all you need to do is pull the crown out to time set mode and leave under light

Citizen eco-drive perpetual calander model bl5280-52e problem with this watch is the crown moves very easily so when on wrist function changes when not required any way to lock down

Crown is getting loose and must be tightened up. See your nearest watchmaker for this. Job will take no more than 30mins to do.
