sounds like a ribbon is lose or your screen has failed

The lcd convertor went out. You can get them on Ebay for a few bucks.

The problem is with your LCD screen, most probably or the drive circuitary. You will have to take it to the service person to get it fixed.

it was still under warrenty so i contacted the manufacturer and they are gonna sorted thanks

Check page # 33 of your user's guide to setup the TV for full viewing.

There are a couple of possibilities.

1. A cable has come loose inside the computer.

2. A cable has become defective.

3. The LCD is defective.

If you wiggle the LCD back and forth and you can get the picture to work again intermittently then answers 1 & 2 above would be more likely.
