please check your internet connection through command prompt by typing ping www.google.com -t
if the website didn't reply, restart your modem or connect your service provider.
The router is not connected to the internet via Virgin media.
Your computer is connected only to the router wirelessly, that is why it says contact your internet supplier on how to connect the router successfully!
Sounds like you have a firewall problem either with the Windows 7 built-in firewall or an anti-virus application firewall. Do you have an Anti Virus program installed?
the drivers should be installed in windows 7 by default, their so called "smart wizard" has some compatibility issues with windows 7, I get it to load up and it will shut down or glitch out. What I did was uninstall the downloaded driver and use the default windows drivers, flipped the switch off to my built in G wifi adapter and the netgear automatically kicked in and took over as the default wireless adapter.
If Internet sharing is set up correctly one pc will be the one that connects directly to internet, the other will connect through a gateway or other device connected to your network.
Check they have'nt both got the same IP address.
Is this related to last problem, did you get the wireless card working wirelessly online?
