H890 blank screen on logitech universal remote

    My h890 has a blank screen as well

    Logitech had me go through the same steps but instead of putting the battery back in they had me plug in the USB cable.  Something tells me this is not a firmware issue.

What you need to do is sign onto you Harmony software.
Up at the top of your software is a "Downloads" Button.
Click there.
What you going to do next is place your remote into safemode.
Pop the battery out of the remote.
Hold down the Off button at the top of your remote.
While holding it down put the battery back in.
Continue to hold the button down till it says Safe mode.
Since your screen is probably STILL blank at this time... wait till you see the activity light flash.
Then take you finger off of the off button.

Now click on firmware and go through that.
Next just update normally.

If your screen is STILL blank contact Logitechs warranty dept.

Hi. Firstly, I would not recommend trying to fix this yourself, as doing so would void your remote's warranty. The screen on my Harmony 1100 went blank once, and updating the firmware fixed it. Sometimes corruptions can occur on the remote that cause this issue.
To update the firmware on your remote, log in to the Harmony software and click "Downloads" at the top of the screen. Then, click "Firmware," and follow the instructions to update the firmware and configuration.
