No problem, just ?

It say's to charge battery for 5 hours. The light will go out when charge is complete. Can I leave it charge over night? Will it keep charging or does it stop charging when the light goes out? Or do you have to take it off the charger right after the light go out?

No issue. The charger is adapted to the battery. You can leave the battery over night in the charger without problem. The fact that the light goes off means that the charger surveys the voltage and switches off when the battery is charged.

If you leave it longer and the battery looses charge, it will be recharged automatically.

Cheers

Why did weed eater just stop working?

Take note: The battery pack will not reach full charge capacity on the first few charges. The break-in period requires 4 to 5 charging cycles, where the battery pack is completely discharged ( no motor sound or tool motion) and then fully recharged. During the break-in period the battery needs to be charged 5 or more hours continuously. The green LED light on the charger will come on in 3-5 hours, this is normal, Continue to leave the battery pack chargingvfor a total of 5 hours or more. After the break-in period, a full recharge is indicated on the charger when the green LED light is lit. Note: Do not charge battery in areas lower than 50 degrees or higher than 80 degrees. Looks like this will need to be charged in the house. I found all this information on page 14 in your manual.

When I plug in the adapter to the charge the consol the orange light lit. The light does not turn off even after 13 hours of charge. After 13 hours when I want to use it, the red light comes on not the...

Hello there. You may need to replace your battery pack, as leaving it charged for over 4 hours can lead to "overcharging" a condition which can dramatically shorten your battery packs lifespan and charge retention.
Also, be sure to charge your console while the device is turned off. Although you may charge it while it is powered on, it will take longer.
As stated, be sure not to leave the system on charge for more than 5-6 hours, as this can damage the battery and is liable to cause battery leakage, burning, or overheating.

Battery life is largely dependent on the game being played - some games can give you up to 10 hours of battery life, though the real-world estimate is really more like 5-7 hours of constant use before you'll need to recharge.

I hope this helps you. -

FS240BX battery how Long should it take to charge.

Hi .Charge the battery initially for 9 hours.

After the initial charge, under normal usage, your power pack should be fully charged in 3 to 6 hours. If the power pack is run-down completely, it may take up to 6 hours to become fully charged.

The red light is just a power indicator. The light will not go out, change color, or blink when the charging has been completed.

To prolong power pack life, avoid leaving the power pack on charge for extended periods of time (over 30 days without use). Although overcharging is not a safety concern, it can significantly reduce overall power pack life.

The power pack will reach optimum performance after being cycled 5 times during normal usage.

There is no need to run the batteries down completely before recharging. Normal usage is the best method of discharging and recharging the batteries
Hope this was of some help to you.

I am loosing green lights on my joystick quantam 600 power chair what could be wrong

The green lights will gradually go away as your battery is being used, this is completely normal. You batteries should last for around 5-10 miles of use. If you find that your battery light falls into the red after only 2-3 hours of use and you have been charging the batteries every night for at least 8-10 hours, contact your manufacturer for service.

Hi, my ZEN vision m: does not start anymore; when charging the blue light just "flickers", but even after 1 night charging, no possibility to get to the menu

Hi,
The rapid-blinking blue light means that the Zen's battery is too drained to allow the player to turn on.

It can take 24 hours or more to completely recharge the Zen using USB. If you see the blue light blinking slowly when you plug it in, then the player is charging, and you will have to wait for it to finish charging.

If, after leaving the Zen to charge for more than a day, it still does not turn on, then the battery may be defective and not able to be charged anymore. The battery will have to be replaced.

First time charging up of archos 5,it has now been charging for about 14-15 hours. but the green light did'nt blink yet. it says after fully charge, the green light blinking. what can be the promlem about...

@wilkerwkocer

On an Archos, battery is fully charge when the CHG LED light is flashing, while that light is ON all the time, the unit is still charging.

Now, in order to charge your Archos you must leave it on Suspended mode, by holding the Power button for about 4-5 seconds until it says "Suspending", DO NOT leave it on completely "Shutdown" mode, or your battery will never charge, and you are also risking the life of your battery by doing so.

So in other words:

1) On a PC via USB it should take around 8 hours to charge, while connected to an Archos mini dock, battery dock, or DVR Station, it should take around 3 hours to fully charge.

2) Leave your unit completely "Shutdown" (hold the Power button and wait 10 secs. or so until it says "Shutting down" and let it go off.

3) Connect it to your power source, either USB on computer, or external charging device as mentioned above, it will come back on, the two LED lights CHG and Power will come on, leave it like that, and after a few minutes the unit will go into Standby/Suspended mode by itself, and there is when you are charging your battery the right way.

3) Wait 8 hours if connected to your PC, or 3 hours if connected to an external power supply (as described above). If still after being in suspended mode (not completely off) your CHG light isn't blinking after the 8 hours on PC, 3 hours on external power supply, then suspect your battery is defective.

In that case, if the unit is still under warranty contact Archos, if it is out of warranty. If it isn't under warranty, you can buy a replacement battery on eBay and either replace it yourself, or find someone with the technical skill to do it for you.

I hope this helped you.

Green battery light on the archos 5 but when i disconnect it from dock or usb no green lights abd completely dead - won't switch on either in dock or out???

Power green LED light should come on, CHG green LED light should also come on showing the battery is being charged. Leave your unit in Suspend mode while charging it, DO NOT turn it completely off as "Shutting Down.." because it will not charge your battery.

I just purchased an almost new Archos 5 on eBay recently, and the first day I had it, happened to me that I left the unit off and charging on the Mini Dock with external AC power supply, after 13-14 hours the CHG light still wasn't blinking. Then I though maybe I have to leave the unit in Suspend mode rather than completely off, which I did, and in a matter of 3 hours it fully charged the battery.

Again, do not shut down completely the unit, leave it on Suspended mode, or even on, and connected it to your mini dock, after a while the screen will go blank the unit will go into Suspended mode by itself, and after 3 hours on external power supply or 8 hours via USB on PC should be completely charged and your CHG light should be blinking, indicating the battery is charged.

I hope this helped.

Motorola CP040 charging time

The rapid rate charger WPLN41__ will typically charge a battery in 90-120 minutes. Your battery should be depleted or nearly depleted when you place it in the charging stand. Be certain your radio is always turned off, when charging an attached battery. The NiMH battery will generally go 12-16 hours on a charge when new. If you work an eight hour shift, you might see if the radio will go 2 days on a charge. Later as the battery ages, you will need to charge it nightly. (Think of putting it in the charger as putting it to bed at night.)

Rapid charging is necessary on NiMH and Li-Ion batteries. They require a "hotter" charger, a fast rate, to completely charge the battery. It will not harm this chemistry of battery. It is safe to leave the battery on the charger overnight, or for a weekend. We would not recommend leaving the battery on the charger longer periods of time, as that will age the battery and reduce its life.

(Sidenote: Frequent rapid charging will however reduce the life of a NiCD battery.)

When I try to charge the battery the light just flashes and the charger does not work.

Hi, I had the same problem!

Had not used my camera for a while so I decided to but my battery on charge, once in the charger the orange light just kept flashing so I left this in "flashing" for a good hour or so.

I removed it and then replaced it, and it was still flashing so I decided to get a new battery (£40!).

I put the new battery on charge over night and it charged great, so I thought I would re-try charging my old one before I sent it away for recycle, and guess what the orange light stopped ON and it was charging!

Not sure what happened here, it was either charge the old for an hour with light flashing and then remove and leave over night and re-try OR insert a good battery to re-set the charger?

But I now have 2 good batteries.

Hope this helps :)
