Can't share photos on Kodak Easyshare site anymore!

Now Kodak has closed the Kodak Gallery I don't seem to be able to share the photos I have on the Easyshare site anymore like I have done for years! Before Kodak closed the Gallery I contacted them to ask whether the Easyshare would go on working and they said yes but it won't send photos anymore. I get a message: there was an erros uploading pictures to the Gallery! Well, I don't want to add any pictures to the Gallery, I want to send a few photos to friends! I contacted Kodak and they say that they will answer my message within 24 hours but no answer yet! The first time they did answer but they told me to call the Paris office as I live in France and the office is not open anymore! What should I do? I have an awful lot of photos there! They show no respect for the clients who bought their products! Now I have a camera with this software, paid lots of money for it and the software ceases working, no explanations given, nothing, no help, nothing! Thanks for any tips....

    Of course I won't ever buy a Kodak product again, no way! But I bought my camera which came with the possibility to use the Easy Share site to.... share photos, I paid for this option as I paid for the full package! Now they stop it without any respect for their clients and without giving any money back! Their banckrupcy is their responsibility! Once they took twice the postage costs from my account, maybe to help with their financialy problems? The Chinese women in the Paris office were completely useless and very disrespectful! **** company, **** products, **** service!!! Everybody should boycott them because they are still around and they will treat people badly again!

SOURCE: Kodak EasyShare C613 not able to connect through USB

I have Kodak EasyShare C613 camera. I have some nice pictures on the memory card. My WinXP recognizes the camera, but won't find any drivers for it. So camera is detected, software running, but i'm not able to transfer the pictures, because I can't connect to camera. Any ideas to solve this?

SOURCE: My Easy Share (Z730) is in the open position & will not close.

VERY COMMON WITH EASY SHARE. There are only a couple things you can really do. FIrst, try removing the memory card and try it. Than if that dosen't work. Try holding power button while gently wiggleing the zoom.

SOURCE: trouble uploading "duplicate" pictures

I've just found a fix for this problem after fighting it myself for a week. Don't use the transfer window that Easyshare gives you when you connect your camera (or which is also available under the tools/cameras/viewers dropdown menu).

Cancel this window if it comes up. Then select "add pictures" from the file dropdown menu (as if you were going to add pictures from your hard-drive to the easyshare gallery). The camera will appear in the folder list. Open the m1063 folder, select the pictures you want (or select all) then click the "add pictures" button.

SOURCE: Kodak Easyshare Software has stopped working

Close Easyshare Program > If you see an icon of easyshare at the system tray {lower right corner of the screen}
right click on it and choose Shutdown Easyshare

Right Click on the icon of Easyshare on your desktop{upper left of screen}
choose Properties, choose Open file location> Look for Catalog Folder > rename it to "old catalog" > close the whole window

Go to My Computer > C: Drive > Users > Public > Public Documents >
Look for ESBK.mb and ESBK.mbb

restart your computer
Relaunch Easyshare Program

How do I transfer my pictures from the kodak easyshare to the shutterfly gallery? I cannot even transfer my recently added pictures to the Kodak gallery.

If your pictures are in jpg format, you can download Picasa, free from Google at http://picasa.google.com/ and use it to upload your photos. You can also do it using your browser if it handles Flash. If not, use the one by one uploader at Shutterfly. I recommend using Picasa, because it will find all the pictures on your PC and sort them by date. It includes a photo editor and facial recognition too. I would drag all your pictures to the "Pictures" folder to make it easier to work with them.

Thanks FixYa.com for your email 26.12.2012 at 6.20pm. IN Kodak Easyshare albums I rerrange photos & sort by manual order. Then when I close down & reopen my Qosmio notebook the photos revert to...

Hi Ron,
I share your frustration with this lovely "feature" In addition if you set your column sizes differently to the defaults while you are working they will reset as well when you shut off the program.

The only solution I have come up with is to use the manual captions to keep my photos in the order that I want them - I currently have 28060 photos in Easyshare, so it's a big job!

Give some thought to how you want to sequence your shots - if it's
only a few for a specific purpose you can number them (you will need leading zeros though as the captions are sorted as if they are text). IE 1 10 100 20 will be in that order unless you type 001 010 020 100 ...

Also use your Album names cleverly - there is no reason why the same photo cant be in more than one album. For example, there is no reason why a "Photo of Betty at the seaside" cant be placed in all of the following albums simultaneously "Betty" "Holiday snaps" "seaside Pictures" etc

I have a kodak easyshare camera the software I have was for XP but now I have windows 7 how do I get the software to work

You don't need any software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Windows Photo Gallery or Picasa.
