I plugged my tomtom up to my computer and it wouldnt let me update my tomtom errors kept popping up. and now my tomtom gps is frozen on the start up screen. and the reset dont work.
Connect your TomTom to the USB cable then turn on your TomTom in that order. Go to "My Computer" and open the drive that is your TomTom. Copy and paste your map folder to the desktop. Delete everything on your TomTom (don't format). After deleting everything on your TomTom. Open TomTom Home. TomTom Home will tell you, you need an application for your TomTom. Let TomTom Home load the application. You will probably have to do this at least 2 times to get the latest application for your device. After TomTom Home has loaded the latest application for your device closer TomTom Home and copy and paste your map back onto your TomTom. You should be ready to go after doing this. Make sure you do not skip a step when doing this.

Ever since I hooked it up to my Mac I can't get it to work right. It starts with a load screen than a screen with a large X.
