Need help ..my SL-DZ 1200 is not ejecting the cd as quick has it should. to the point that it gets stuck and goes back into the player just as slow as it comes out?

I have the same issue. My occurred after an electronic burning smell. My issue is that no one wants to work on it or guarantee that they can fix it. Please note that most repair shops will not work on the unit if it has been opened.

Most likely the deck needs a new belt installed- they are not always so easy depending on where they are located. This is what it sounds like to me- I have been doing electronics repairs for 40 years so far. I bet I could fix it.

Cd tray closes quickly without pressing switch on Technics SL-pd688

There is a small switch under the tray that stops the motor at the end of it's travel, also one when the tray goes back in.
These can have wires broke off or can be stuck or open circuit

Stuck disc in JVC CD player

It wasn't a car cd player, but a component for a stereo.  I took off the case and shook the player until the disc dropped out.  We plan to replace the player, so no further help is needed.  Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.

Connection help

Nope. There are no input connections on the DZ1200. However, you can use programs like Serato, CUE, TRAKTOR, or PCDJ, and you can keep your music on your computer/hard drive, and control with the DZ1200 via specially coded CDs.

Technics SL-DZ 1200

More than likely the traverse assembly needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, this is not easy, as Panasonic does not sell this assembly complete. YOu will have to purchase each part individually, and this in itself is not an easy task. Only an service tech knowledgeable with this unit will be able to help you out with this. Unfortunately, I cannot refer you to anyone in Taiwan.

Panasonic service is useless all over the world. I have never heard of a good repair story about Panasonic, so it's good that they didn't attempt the repair. Go with a independent reputable local service center.

Your always welcomed to ship it to us here in NY. But it wont' be cheap, and there could be more damage to the unit during transit. Just a suggestion though, if you can't find anyone in your area.

Good luck!
