I go to the menu and I click 'Music' -like I normally do- and then all of the artists that I have on my Mp3 player are all mumbled, Like it is normally alphabetical but now it starts with Kelly Clarkson instead of 3 Doors Down.. And When I click the names of the artist I want to listen to it only play one song!... I'm so confused. Please help! ... Also I just put a new cd on it (KT Tunstall if that makes a difference) would that make it glitch like this? ---Sorry if it's not technically "Glitching" by I just don't know what else to call it.

Sometimes all you need to do for that is profile the songs. This organizes the songs into the correct catagories.

Edit the album art by editing the ID3 tag, not by dragging it to the mp3player.

Wow, I didn't realize so many people were having the same problem I was having. First try re-installing the firmware for it. Since your computer won't recognize it you will need to download the software, then you will have 2 boxes pop up. One is the install instructions and the other is the actual program install. You will have to hold down the play button on your player while you plug it into the computer. DO NOT RELEASE THE BUTTON UNTIL THE PROGRAM SAYS "INITIALIZING".
It should work fine once you do this. I spent 3 hours going through RCA's website before I came across this step.

When the player will not respond to key presses, try next to reset the device: press and hold the standby / menu for more than 10 seconds.
Most of your settings will be preserved, only settings that have been made after the last power off will be lost.
When the player still won't work after the reset, a firmware update or reinstallation may be required. Need more help ? Just add a comment in this thread.
