If they are PS/2, power off make sure that they are not plugged into the wrong port, they will fit....but won't work that way.

If they are USB, try booting into safe mode and see if they work there

Pressing [F8] repeatedly on boot is how to get the Safe Mode options to appear, then use the Arrow-keys, (up or down,) to highlight a Safe Mode option, then press [Enter] to select it.

hi there!

since you only disconnected the printer from the pc, it shouldnt have any effect on the other things connected to the pc. try to powercycle pc, turn off, shutdown, unplug power cord from wall outlet, leave it like that for 2mins. plug it back in, turn on. check mouse light and keyboard lights (caps lock, num lock lights) if none of these responds, check the drivers (device manager) if they have bangs (!), if yes, reinstall their drivers. =)

The keyboard doesn't type , only FN buttons respond properly.

Hello There! Check if "Num Lock" is on. Otherwise go on Control panel and click on Keyboard settings. Reset the driver.

How to turn keyboard and mouse on

make sure there is new batteries in both the mouse and keyboard. Also the wireless receiever that connects to the computer is responding as well.

After you get new batteries put in and also have the receiever plugged in. press the caps lock, num lock keys and see if they light up on the receiver. If they light up then things are working, if they don't then bring up the notepad and see if any of the keys show up in notepad when you type and also see if the cursor on the screen moves for your mouse.

Hopefully both of them will work once you change batteries. If both don't work after changing batteries then you'll need to get a new wireless keyboard/mouse kit.

Keyboard & mouse

Make sure batteries are good in both the Keyboard and Mouse. Then press the button on the Receiver.
Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.
Hope this helps. Bud
