If you wish to get setup codes, three
digits, four digits or five digit ones, check this link. Pull up older posts there. Setup code list and setup instructions to
some popular model remote controls are given. Select the 'Timeslide'
option from the drop-down list by the 'Sidebar' at the display

Hi cgroom,
If you go to the oneforall website - http://www.oneforall.com/en_UK/support
you can enter the model number of your remote. It is either printed on front of remote under the oneforall symbol or in the battery compartment at the rear.
Then you can enter the make and model of the device you're trying to use it on, TV, DVD, etc. (TV Model Number is usually on a label at rear of tv)
It will give you a code to input into the remote. It gives you instructions on how to do that underneath the code.
Hope that works for you. I have found them to be pretty good for tv's, freesat boxes etc.
Regards,
Tom.
It would help to know the model number of your LG TV. However, you can try the generic codes for LG which I've listed here:
Rev 8 remote: 1293, 1206, 0206, 0065, 0904 Rev 6 remote: 0065, 0742, 0502, 0672, 0634, 0136, Rev 4 remote: Same as Rev 6 RC1600/00 remote: codes not available and unlikely to work with your TV
** Your Sky remote version can be found on a sticker inside the battery compartment. **
Try these codes but if they don't work, please post back with your TV model number. It's possible that your remote does not have a code which will work with your TV, in which case, you will need to use the remote supplied with your TV to control volume and power functions. Unfortunately, when a TV is newer than the remote and uses a new flash pattern not programmed into that remote, the remote wont work. However manufacturers often keep the same flash patterns for common functions, so the generic codes might work for you.
I'm informed that a new Sky remote version is due but I've not been able to confirm this yet.
Hope this helps - please post back if you need further assistance.
Firstly, you need to let me know the brand and EXACT model number of your universal remote control. This will usually be at the bottom of the remote on the keypad side, on a sticker on the back or sometimes inside the battery compartment.
Please post back with the above information and I will provide codes and programming instructions for your remote. Please note, there is no guarantee that your remote will work with your TV - especially if the remote is older than the TV.
Nobody can help you unless you specify the brand and model number!
Code is 1293 if you're using a Rev 8 remote control. You can check this on the sticker in the battery compartment.
If you are using an older Sky remote Rev 6, Rev 4 or plain old RC1600/00 then it's unlikely to work as these remotes aren't programmed to control your TV. You are welcome to try though ;)
Please post back if you need instructions on programming the remote.
Please rate this solution if you find it helpful. Thanks.
2. Press and hold down select and the red button together until the red light at the top of your Sky remote control flashes twice.
3. Press tv again
Then enter the remote control code using the number keypad. The red light will flash twice if a valid code has been entered.
Samsung Code: 0060
4. Point your Sky remote control at your TV and press the Power button. If this turns the off as you'd expect, then the tv should be set, press Select and the remote should work
5. If the TV does not turn off press tv, then press the Power button again, repeat this process until the TV turns off, when the TV turns off press Select.
After spending hours on this I found that code 0206 worked on my sky+ remote(with LG 42LC46). On an old sky remote, prior to version 4 (inside the battery compartment), just use 206. This code was actually for a LG 42PX5D but it works perfectly on my tv.
It's a Zenith remote, MBR 3440 is the model #, 124-202-01 is the part #. To program, press and hold PRG button until red light stays on, press TV,AUX etc, enter 3 digit code (www.xdiv.com) press Enter.
