Connect to http://192.168.1.1/
The default password is "admin". No username required. If you don't remember the correct password and you don't want to use some brute-force cracking software the only option is to reset the router pressing reset for 30 seconds. After that everything should be back to factory defaults including the default password.

CISCO/Linksys -To reset the Linksys back to the default settings - Press and hold the pinhole RESET button at the back of the router with the power ON for 20 secs. then release the RESET button.
To connect to your wireless router, the router's wireless settings needs to be configured with the SSID, encryption etc. and also the wireless cards in all the laptops/computers needs to be configured with these router's wireless settings. You need to install Cisco Connect software.
To reset it you have to press a small button at the back of the router
With power on.

You must use your Cisco Connect CD Install, this runs a wizard, otherwise you need to know default IP address, administrator password and some other data.

The default password of the router is admin. If you have set up a password before, it will not recognize the default admin.Hold the reset button (at the back) of the router for 10secs and it will retrieve the default admin...To change the default password, lauch internet explorer(pc should be connected to the router hardwired), type on the address bar, 192.168.1.1--it willl prompt for a username and password, leave username blank and password will be admin...It willl bring you to the set up page of the router..click on the administration tab and from there you can create your new password for your router.

Plug into the router using an ethernet cable.

In the address bar of a web browser type in 192.168.1.1

The default login to the router will be
admin
password:
admin

if this doesnt work, the password is probably blank
