I just bought a new Toshiba Satellite laptop. But I do not know how to burn cd or dvd. I need instructions. Where do I find them?
What I want to burn or record to cd is from a website called "Koam114". It has current hit songs that Iike.

Toshiba satellite Laptop alread have built in dvd/cd RW so you need to just install software to burn on to CD/DVD.
and you can also but from windows media player which comes installed along with your Laptop.
to burn using windows media player:
Click on Start>programs>click on windows media player
once your windows media player pane is open then
click on Burn then just put your CD/DVD in dvd/cd drive then drag and drop your song from located location to burn list field and once you are done with it then click on start burn. when it finishes burning your disk then will be automatically ejected.
Note: windows media player burns only compitable extension files with it so if you wanna burn all types of file or dvd movies then you must get third party software such as:
Sonic, Nero, chitah etc.
and you need to download your songs from website to your laptop before you start burning then on to a disk.

1. Download all the songs that you like. Save it on your My Music Document.
2. Use Nero burning tool to burn data, songs, and movies, etc. to cd/dvd. If you don't have NERO yet, search it on google.com. After Installation: Click Nero StartSmart Essential desktop icon. A box will appear.
3. Click the Note icon (Audio)
4. On the menu, Click Make Audio CD or Create Jukebox CD(MP3,MP4,WMA)
5. A box will appear, on the upper right corner click (+)Add button.
6. A box will appear. Locate the songs that you have downloaded.
7. Click the songs and click Add button.
8. Songs will then be copied. Click Close button where the browser opened your files/folders.
9. Click Next button to get the burning process.
10. Select Current Recorder.
11. Click 'Burn' to start the recording process.

To burn cd/dvd you have to check :
1. Your laptop cd/dvd drive have what capability:
- cd writer = only burn cd
- cd writer/dvd reader(combo) = still only burn cd
- dvd writer = can burn cd, dvd single layer(4GB)
- dvd DL writer = can burn cd and dvd single 4GB and dual layer 8GB.
Other than those, is not possible.
2. Must have burn apps named:
- Nero
- Alcohol 120%
- other. search internet.
If you have them then using the apps to burn, just read the manual.
Koam114 is in Korean. I don't understand :)
But If you want songs from website, you should download it first.
Unless the site is giving you a step by step how to burn songs directly to your cd/dvd.
Once downloaded, would be easier to burn to cd/dvd.
