I came home last night and turned my Bravia HDLCD Model# KDL-32M3000 tv on but i was getting no picture. Just a black screen and sound.
When I turn the tv on I get the Sony logo then it disapears "faster than normal" I then see for one second a picture then it goes black. I can not even see menu options. I have unplugged it for 15 mins then for 10 hours and still get the same result. I also noticed when I turn the power off on the Tv the green light stays on and is a bit more dim than when the power is on. Normaly this green light is off when i turn the power off.

Same symptoms. Took to Sony authorized repair shop. First diagnosed as a bad BM board. Once that didn't solve it, they concluded it was the panel. Too costly to fix. Only 6 mo out of warranty.
