Computer cannot read camera

bought new sd card for gateway dc-t50 camera. camera dept said camera is too old for the sd cars.

Use a card reader to download your pictures to a folder you create on your desktop.

how do i transfer pictures from my camera to my computor which has as its operating pro. vista?

this camera is kinda funny, i have the same one, but it only takes pictures with the cards it likes, i guess, but i say get a new card, but my camera <same one> seems to like sandisk cards. you can get them anywhere, like target, walgreens, wal-mart, anywhere

maybe if you had an outlet by your computer but no it cannot charge up using the computer

What is most likely causing this are the drivers that run the included software have either been accidentally deleted or they need to be updated. I would reinstall the software that came with the camera, or you could purchase a card reader and upload your pictures to your computer that way which should not require any drivers other than the ones in your operating system. Check memory card from computer with card reader.
If that doesn`t help.
Try formatting memory card from camera or from computer (it will destroy data on card).
Most likely your pictures are alredy lost.
