That figures. If you can get it into the store and they can stick a replacement battery into it you can see if thats the problem. That figures. If you can get it into the store and they can stick a replacement battery into it you can see if thats the problem.

Hi, It is
very easy to unlockBlackberry Pearl 8120 .i did find a third party.i had unlocked mine.it
work perfectly. This third may help you find the cheapest solution. Hope
this help.
A hard reset involves physically removing the battery from the smartphone and then reinserting it. To perform a hard reset, complete the following steps:
1) Remove the battery cover from the back of the BlackBerry smartphone. 2) Remove the battery, and then reinsert it after a few seconds. 3) Replace the battery cover.
Still if it is not working kindly remove the Battery of the Handheld and try in some other Handheld. If the Battery is working fine in the other Handheld then there might be some problem with your Handheld, you need to walk into the service center.
If the Battery is not working in the other Handheld then there might be aproblem in the USB cable for these you need to walk into the service center
If you are having problems with your Blackberry Pearl 8100, 8110, 8120 or 8130, you might want to wipe all of the data off of it and start fresh. You may want to try resetting the device first by removing the battery from the unit for about 5 seconds and reinserting it. If that doesn’t help things, proceed with these steps to erase all data on the device. You may want to backup your data before trying these steps.
1. On the Home screen, select Options.
2. Select Security Options.
3. Click General Settings.
4. Press the Menu key.
5. Click Wipe Handheld.
6. Click Continue.
7. Type blackberry.
All the data on your BlackBerry Pearl will then be deleted.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it. Thanks, Joe
BEFORE ANYTHING !!!! use the desktop software to backup your data on the BB (if you can) and save the file to the desktop. next go to https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=577BCC914F9E55D5E4E4F82F9F00E7D4you need to download (use pull down menu)blackberry desktop software 4.6 and the blackberry pearl 8110 smartphone. install the desktop software first then the device software.. this can take maybe an hour (not including the download time)
Blackberry pearl dials phone numbers on it's own.
I've taken out the battery for an extended time and when replaced, starts dialing numbers again.
How do I restart the phone to reset factory specs or what else can I do?
