The image in astronomical telescopes are naturally upside down. This can be corrected using an inverting eyepiece . The reason this is the case, is that normally when viewing astronomical objects it doesn't matter if the image is upside down, so to minimise the loss of light that is the more important issue, unnecessary optical surfaces are eliminated. Terrestrial telescopes do naturally have inverting eyepieces as people expect to see objects the right way up.
Getting and inverting eyepiece will be cheaper the changing telescopes! :) Your eyes see everything upside down too, but your brain turns the image the right way up. The image in cameras is also upside down at the image plane, but the electronics turn it the right way up for you.

Not hard to figure out, you need a new camera because the cost to repair it will be more than you paid for the camera when you bought it !!

Your camera can be defected. If you buy new batteries, and it still doesn't work, than you'll probably want to send it back to the manufacturer. First, call them and tell them your problem, and if that doesn't work, than you might want to carefully examine your camera, to check if everything is in the correct place, and their all working correctly.

Generally the image capturing button should press 1-3 secs to get a picture.If it doesn't works there might be some hardware problem.But first try to Restore the phone by typing *#7780# and capture.If the problem still persist contact mobile repairing shop. Are you using the software the laptop came preinstalled or is this an add-on camera that you installed.
Uninstall the software, delete the hardware in device manager. Go to the mfg site and download the correct software your your model. Reboot the machine and install the software before activating the camera. When the camera is turned on, Windows will detect new hardware and install the driver. You chould be able to go to Windows Explorer and see the camera image there!

Your camera will go from "hardly working" to working hard!

I have found that you can change these settings using the software provided with the camera or other software used to download the images.

In MSN, go to Tools-Web cam settings, there's an option to invert the view, check it and you'll see in the preview that your perspective is inverted now :-) Accept and it's done :-)



Resolution
The image in your Webcam Uploader window might be inverted because of your camera settings.
To change the settings:

1. Click Messenger and select My Webcam.
2. In the window that opens, click the File menu ' select Preferences ' choose Webcam.
3. Click the Camera Settings button.
4. There is usually a checkbox for "Invert Image" or "Mirror Vertical." Un-check this box if one exists.

The G12's have a common problem for this. If you just recently bought it, take it back to the store. If you can't do that, send it to Canon under warranty since you just got it (assuming you didn't drop it or do something to cause it). If Canon won't cover it, go to this site: www.camerasandparts.com They just service the Canons exclusively and they will do a correction to the G12 so this problem doesn't keep happening. They do the repair with parts included, service the camera, do the correction in the camera and cover shipping back. With them, it's only $89 which is nice. If you're under warranty and it's going to be free, send it to Canon instead. If you're going to have to pay, use the site I gave you. They do excellent work on these plus you'll get that correction done with the repair. Best of luck with the problem.
