The only other thing that comes to mind is to check b/g/n network type. The mismatch can make the network access an issue. Make sure that the BR Player is capable of a wireless access in the same flavor.

Unplug the router for 10 seconds and again plug in. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve network problems on a Belkin router.

Disable the "Windows Firewall," which might be preventing an outgoing connection. Click the "Start" menu, type "Windows Firewall" and press "Enter." Click "Turn Windows Firewall on or off." Click on "Off." Click "OK."

Make sure the router is connected properly to your modem with an Ethernet cable via the router's "WAN" port on the back.

Follow the simple steps to set up the Belkin wireless router

SOURCE: Blue Ray connection to Belkin G router

your wireless router is encrypted. To remove encryption, go in your computers web browser: http://192.168.0.1
That will take you to your LAN Administrator.
Follow the simple wireless setup for an unsecured connection or setup your blue ray connection and create your own passphrase or WEPKey.
Hope that helped!

Is there an adapter to switch tv to smart tv

No, but most Blu-ray players are "smart" players and include a Netflix app as well as other services such as HULU, Amazon, etc. Usually, the Blu-ray player will have stickers or or emblems printed on the box or the on the player itself with "Netflix" , etc.
Connect the Blu-ray player to the TV using an HDMI cable. Connect the Blu-ray player to your router/home network with an ethernet cable or wirelessly if your player has built-in Wi-fi. Once that is done you can go to the Main Menu on the player and select Netflix. That should open the Netflix app and connect you for watching Netflix.

How does one stream netflix via Blu Ray wired to ISP through a tv?

First you have to hook up network cable to Blue Ray player and to router
Next update software in Blue Ray player by going thru your menu in blue ray player to settings
If you have your blue ray player with Netflix app then all
you do is click on app and log in.
And make sure HDMI cable is plugged into TV.
And that should work for you. Any problems write me back.

Unable to access netflix to my tv

Is your TV a "smart" TV, with its own "wireless" conhnection to your own wireless router? Is that connection working?

Turn your wireless router off (unplug its electrical cord).
Power it back on, to "reset" the router.
On your TV, confirm that it is connecting to your wireless network.

On any PC connected to your router, access 'www.netflix.com' to make sure that you can connect (on a different device) to that web-site.

Just got a Sony BDP-S570. Have a wireless network with a Belkin N+ router (Windows Vista computer). When I use the Sony on the network for Netflix, or YouTube, radio, etc, I drop the wireless connection...

We have the exact same issue with the BDP-S570 and a Belkin N+ while having no issues with other wireless devices on the network. We have tried different encryption methods and the issues continue. I did read a person recommending that we reset the device to factory defaults after upgrading firmware. I just tried this and will see how long the Sony stays connected.
